Exhibitions and Curated Projects

In working at the intersection of community and environment, I have had the pleasure to lead and assist in a variety of projects. They are listed below, chronologically.

One of Many

Spring 2025 Adventures in Cardboard Minneapolis, MN

In preparation for In The Spirit Of Mayday we built a driving castle, orchestrated a no-kings theatrical display, and created fairy-characters as agents of justice.

My character: Chairy-y Tomato Blossom, was the chair fairy, a fairy driven to create access through antiracist art, in which I passed out red champagne-cage wire chairs with the Sherly Chisholm quote "If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair."

Inspired by A Seat At The Table.

Miko Simmons - Resistance/Resilience, An Afrofuturistic Journey into Liberatory Consciousness

Fall 2024 Modus Locus Expansion Minneapolis, MN

Resistance/Resilience was a large-scale immersive installation exploring themes of collective memory, transformation, and Afrofuturist imagination. Working as Art Assistant to multimedia artist Miko Simmons, I supported the execution of projection mapping, spatial design, and technical setup to bring a dynamic, multi-sensory environment to life. The exhibition invited audiences to experience resilience as both a personal and communal force—embodied through sound, light, and layered visual storytelling.

Legacy Dream Space

Fall 2024 Modus Locus Expansion
 Minneapolis, MN

Legacy Dream Space is an immersive, multi-sensory environment that invites visitors to reflect on the continuum of presence—past, present, and future. I participated in creating fabrication, accessible signage, digital promotion and other materials. The installation intertwines digital illustration, projection, sound, and fabric to create a dreamlike world where memory and imagination converge. Within this living time capsule, echoes of past visitors mingle with new contributions, forming a collective exploration of how we honor and transform legacy. The work features digital illustration prints and fabrics by Candy Kuehn, soundscapes by Craig Harris, and a projected visual environment blending Kuehn’s imagery with motion and light—inviting each viewer to leave their own imprint within the evolving story space.

Graffiti Garden Dance Floor

Spring 2024 Modus Locus Minneapolis, MN

In preparation for In The Spirit Of Mayday we designed and built a dance floor for the daylong festival, celebrating Minneapolis and the history of May Day.
