Sunday Before Twilight (On Change and Transition), was a series I created during my senior year of high school, photographing my home, NYC, and my mom’s home, Michigan. I’m now a senior at Clark, and its relevance feels renewed so I wanted to submit it to the Lounge in order to approach the ways one can understand and settle into change. The series attempts to capture the partially ominous feeling of a Sunday, just before twilight. What if there was a world where that feeling encompassed it? What would the people look like? The neighborhoods? The plazas where people congregate? The sky? Maybe by creating this world, it could be easier to settle into it, into transition, and find comfort.
