Queering the Nest

This piece feels really important to me as a representation of home, as a kind of play on the idea of nesting, of just this, like, needing to have space that feels safe and doing that in community and queer community. And I think that this art is so important to be photographed. So it's just this snapshot of time, of a moment that feels deep and complex. And I'm just in such a transition in my life that I know that looking back on this time, I'm going to want to remember what it felt like to be here and to live where I live, in community with the people that I love and wanted to capture that.
